Accessibility
Showy aims to be usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. Without being legally required to, we treat accessibility as a measure of product quality, not a box to tick.
Our commitment
We design the site and product targeting WCAG 2.1 level AA, the standard that France’s RGAA 4.1 is based on. We also track the WCAG 2.2 updates, which will form the basis of the standard’s next version.
Where we stand
The site was recently rebuilt with accessibility considered from the design stage: semantic page structure, full keyboard navigation, a visible focus indicator, respect for the system’s “reduced motion” setting, and verified contrast.
We haven’t yet had a formal compliance audit carried out, so we claim no official conformance rating. What we state, we’ve verified ourselves.
Known limitations
In full transparency, a few points are being fixed:
- some illustrative elements (product mockups) aren’t all correctly flagged to assistive technologies yet;
- some secondary-text contrasts are close to the threshold and being adjusted.
This list is updated as we make fixes.
